Notes From the Missions Field
- By Scott Hughes
“The distant shores have called once again. How they can not be denied once their sounds echo in the chambers of the hearts of man.” Ah the perfect, opening lines to a wonderful story.
Make Your Move Now!
- By Jeremy Caris
If God is speaking to your heart about making a move, now is the time! Make your move now! I see the bride in combat boots with a spear in her right hand, hunched over and moving along a ravine. It's time to mobilize. It's time for being strategically repositioned while keeping your guard up. Prepare yourself for action and great exploits.
The DNA For Signs & Wonders
- By Ryan Wyatt
Because we carry the DNA of our Father in Heaven individually and corporately, we are by definition people who carry the glory of God, people who perform signs and wonders and who live out of the fullness of their inheritance here and now on earth.
Trust In The Lord And Do Good
- By Scott Hughes
“Trust in the Lord and do good”, when I opened up my Bible a few mornings ago this was the first thing that I read. Slowly my hand went to the cover of my Bible and I closed it. It took me all of 4 seconds from the time I opened my Bible, read this line, and then closed my Bible. But 4 seconds is all that I needed. “Trust in the Lord and do good”.
Conditions Are Right
- By Jeremy Caris
One of the key things that I see God doing right now is re-positioning many believers who will cooperate with Him, making adjustments that will allow for advancement. If you are in Christ, your conditions are already right. You simply need to allow Him to position you in a way that will enable you to take advantage of the existing opportunities that surround you. I see the grace of Jesus being released to re-position many right now. The details of your particular circumstances may be daunting facts, but God will turn the current circumstances of your life to your advantage. Better than that, He is ready to use your circumstances to His advantage.
Our Tongue Is A Pen
- By Scott Hughes
Sitting down to write is sometimes a daunting task. Simply the idea of taking abstract and sometimes scattered thoughts and placing them in a coherent combination of words is at times a large mountain to climb. Just think about it for a moment. Most of us have a difficult time concentrating on a truth long enough to intelligently make sense of it. Now take that truth and form it into words to be read by others. It’s a wonder that anything ever gets written and that which does get written makes any sense at all.
Sharp or Dull Blades?
- By Vince Gibson
So what keeps our blades sharpened? Intimacy! Not intimacy to gain anointing, intimacy to move in close to Father out of a pure heart of love, to seek Him, to know Him! Then He can sharpen us and use us to the “best” of His ability! True ministry comes from overflow, and you only receive overflow after you’ve been on the grinder for a while.
A Key To The Kingdom
- By Scott Hughes
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness” so wrote Charles Dickens. C.S. Lewis wrote “There was a boy called Eustace Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it.” His good friend J.R.R. Tolkien started with “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit.” Ah the opening lines. How important they are. It is a rule among writers that you must capture the audience in the beginning paragraph. Before the reader gets a chance to form an impression of what they are reading you must hook them with intrigue.
Your Greatest Purpose
- By Jeremy Caris
Over the last couple of weeks, the Lord has been repeatedly telling me to simplify my life. It is so easy to get caught up in the daily grind of being busy, even with good things. It is also possible to be extremely productive and still not accomplish anything that leads you to the next landmark along your God-given destiny. Nothing in life matters more than pleasing God.
It's Time to Birth Your Future
- By Ryan Wyatt
God has been speaking to me about this being a season of germination or birthing of the things we have been contending for in the last season. As believers, we are the birthing agents of the promises of God. Most everything God does in the earthly sphere, He will do through His people. There is a process that he takes us through in order to birth things from the heavenly realm into the natural, earthly realm. It all starts with a seed.
Chasing the Glory of God
- By Sue Mead
Once we have tasted, seen, or been in the midst of the Glory of God, nothing else satisfies what our souls are hungry for. The Glory is tangible. The Glory can be felt. People are made for God’s glory. Before the fall, Adam and Eve were covered and filled with God’s glory. Everything is good in the Glory.
The Secret of Being Pursued by Love
- By Jeremy Caris
We have all heard that God loves us because He is love. But we all desperately need to feel that love, to be overwhelmed by the affections of the one who loved us so much that He gave up even his own life to have us. But how do you convince God to come to you and wrap His affections around you? How do allow yourself to believe again that He will come to you without fear of disappointment? Can you entice Him to pursue you?
A Calling To Live An Epic Life
- By Scott Hughes
Few things inspire us like a good story. The single parent who fights to provide for her family. The child with cancer, struggling to hold onto life. The father who refuses to give up on his wayward son. The person that doesn’t succumb to their handicap, but uses it to propel them further. Good stories, inspiring stories, Epic stories.
TURN ASIDE INTO THE FLAME
- By Ryan Wyatt
Since 2010 began, I have sensed a special stirring from God and in God's people. I am convinced that, “right now”, we are in a season of favor! I am convinced that this is a season for the church to be propelled further into destiny, in God's divine plan for this very period of time that we are living in. This is a season where God is granting manifest victory and advancement in our lives!
Strategic Word for 2010
- By Jeremy Caris
What Did You Do Next Summer? For several months now, I have been sensing that God was wanting me to release a strategic word concerning 2010. Of course, to write such a thing means that He must first speak to you and you must look to see what He will say to you (Habakkuk 2:1). It's amazing to find that as much as I want to hear, I still occasionally find myself disregarding what He is saying to me. The phrase that I had been repeatedly hearing and brushing off through the last months of 2009 was, "What did you do next summer?" I am sure you notice the apparent contradiction in that question which implies doing the future in the past.
The Devil is in the Details
- By Vince Gibson
Every Wednesday morning some of us gather for a time of soaking. Recently, during one of these sessions I had an encounter with the Lord. I realize that getting up in the early AM to meet with the Lord is truly a sacrifice, but I am finding quickly that it does not take long for Him to show up when we make that sacrifice.
The Gladiator Pit
- By Steve Wyatt, Ph.D.
“Where was God when I was suffering or struggling so much in day-to-day life?” “Why does God allow struggle and suffering?” As a Psychologist and Biblical counselor for the last 25 years, I have been asked these questions often by those I have counseled. I have also personally stormed the doors of Heaven with these questions, both for myself as I have struggled and on behalf of my clients.
God's Kingdom Invasion
- By Ryan Wyatt
In last month's “Abiding Glory: Kingdom Voice Journal”, I shared about my vivid vision of the perfect storm that the earth is now experiencing. In my spiritual experience, the Lord showed me that the only hope for our times was when we “seek first the Kingdom” even in the midst of the distracting and mounting storm of adversity around us.
Fulfilling Your Prophetic Potential
- By Jeremy Caris
Too often, the full potential of our lives remains unfulfilled. Perhaps even you have not received the fulfillment of prophetic words which were spoken over your own life long ago. Should you continue to wait for God to sovereignly act on your behalf or should you do something yourself?
An Emerging Army Advancing in the Storm
- By Ryan Wyatt
No one these days would doubt the fact that we are living in very intense and extreme times. These are some of the most critically important times in all of world history. I have been crying out to the Lord for many things but one thing that constantly rises to the forefront is the need for the church to be awakened to a revelatory understanding of the time and season we are living in.
